Hey everyone just back from Toronto island. What a day!! Started at 10am at the dock to load in not a cloud in the sky, and went to
.2:30am? It was a great chance to play Wakestock with some killer bands, catch some rays and take in some stellar skating & wake boarding.
Our friends Truths and Rights, as per usual rocked the spot, keeping everybody locked on their reggae vibe. No Use for a Name, Idle Sons, The Constantines, Hostage Life and Machete Avenue all played great sets. Thanks Darren Pfeiffer for hosting and great introduction. Thanks to MuchLoud & edge102 good to see Barry Taylor rockin’ out at “Barry’s Big D*ck“. Lots of fun hanging with the dodger supporters in the beer tent and by the water. We had a blast at the wrap party on Sunday, heartily entertained by our main dudes The Salads and The Inner City Surfers. Topped off with an impromptu performance by Wakestock’s main man; Zeke Myers who fought for his right to party.
Thanks to everyone that took the trip across the harbor to see us play. Further appreciation to Zeke and Christian for organizing and having us play at Wakestock. Thanks to Howie for the pontoon boat rides back and forth to the island.
